Yes, the simple "wall pass" so effective. Similar to the win against Newcastle, there was one moment of attacking magic that was the difference in the game. Raya was huge in that one too, but he was huge against that Fernandes attempt. He really does deserve the player of the season.

I'm as critical as the next person about his performances and agree that his levels have massively dropped of late but I don't see a point in some of the harsh criticism directed at him. First season in this madly physical league and he's played almost every minute of it. He's been overplayed, and its obviously far from ideal in this crunch phase to see him being physically and mentally drained. Its sad even. 3 — Correct of El Jefe to substitute the substitute. Admitting his mistake and correcting it.
4 — There was a dead-ball situation at 0-0 where we sent everyone up, leaving MLS to watch the half way line. The ball was Hammered clear, high, and as it was dropping from the sky, MLS had to deal with both the ball and a West Ham forward. Jeopardy!! His control was immaculate, and he ended up facing forward with the opponent taken out of the game. The boy is something else!
