God I hate Simon Stone.I see him on BBC coverage of every Utd match under 'Manchester United reporter'. He usnt a reporter, he's a fan. When Utd win he goes into a hyperbolic frenzy of 'United are back'. When they lose, he will focus solely in their mistakes and add a comment about the opposition as an after thought. A few months ago he was calculating their rise in the table if they won several (fuve?) consecutive games. Needless to say they lost.
I don't mind fan engagement, but I hate it when it's dressed up as reportage, especially when it's paid by the taxpayer as part of free PR for one of the richest clubs in the world.

I think Odegaard's inconsistency in terms of fitness and performances mean he will be required to share that no10 position with Nwaneri and Eze more, while MLS at the fabled tricky 8 position seems a legit fix, with Rice and Zubimendi to rotate as needed.
Our midfield will be mythical, with Merino covering in MF or CF as needed. Immense cover. Heavens knows what's going on with Norgaard, shame as he was cpt for Brentford.
Anyway, that's a powerhouse of a potential midfield.
