Haven't City got Villa last game?? Not the team you want them to be playing
In the words of Giorgio A. Tsoukalos (of Ancient Aliens fame): "it's a pyramid scheme".
Now that one I believe. More than I believe that a billionaire can be "scammed" into buying footballers for his football club.
Come on, Blogs, you're sitting on the fence. Tell us what you really think of Emery.
Massive bottling vampire-looking shit cunt!
Quite serious. I'm curious where you're getting that from as well.

If they had managed 1-2 more trophies, it would have been quite arguably the greatest period in the club's history. Consistent Top 6 finishes, three League Cup finals, multiple consecutive CL campaign...
Yes. Levy kept Son and Kane there much longer than should've been reasonably expected. Crazy that they got rid of him, immediately after winning the Europa League.
To be placed by Vinai (who always seems like a decent enough guy but come on...)
Spud cunt fans acting like they've won the fucking World Cup
Wow didn’t know there was a cup for that. Is it on telly
Spud cunt fans acting like they've won the fucking World Cup
You mean acting like they've won the fucking World Club Cup.
An accomplishment that Chelsea fans seem to downplay.
Spud cunt fans acting like they've won the fucking World Cup
Rogers sat down on the pitch at the end looking mightily pissed off. Might be worth a cheeky bid.

I just tuned in there to see the Aston Villa - Spurs scoreline. Fuck off Aston Villa you fucking cunts. Fuck you Emery. Useless fucking miserable big chip on your shoulder fucking geebag. Unbelievable. Fucking unbelievable.
it turns out the meant Europa League 😏 ...which they're not going to win either.
And they call us entitled. We haven't sang that once. I'm bursting to recycle the magic hat song, but like all Gooners, keeping my powder dry.
Well if they don't play their best team, and they somehow fuck up 5th place, and lose out to Bournemouth or Brentford, it will be totally on Yuri Enema's head!!!
And he can stick that up his arse!
¡Y que se lo meta por el culo!
You remember when they sang: We're gonna win the league, and now you're gonna believe us... In December.

Ironic that Spurms "most successful" period since the 60s was under Levy, where they finished ahead of us more times than needs reminding, only for them to appoint the guy we had at the helm during said period of shit results. Heh
Amusing how often Villa fans head for the exit when things go wrong. They're having a decent season all in all.

they didn't throw it, they conceded it. subtle difference but different.

Let's hope Forest beat them next week.
To be fair to Emery, Raul fucked him over. Raul bought Nicholas Pepe who played on the right wing. Emery wanted Zaha who played on the left wing
When your appointment was a scam, what could he expect?
My enduring memory of Raul was him "dancing" when we announced the signing of Saliba.
I'm sure that internal review (around signings, particularly Pepe but not only) found multiple deals were loaded, with funds being wired to accounts in Panama (or the like).
As i switched off TV I saw delirious Spuds fans hopeful of finishing 16th in the table in consecutive years.
People on BBC coverage accusing Villa and Emery of throwing the match.
I'm checking out of this Emery shitfest.
Let me know when Morgan Rogers' agent contacts Berta
Well the AI seems more like RS (Real Stupidity) today!
You can get "enemy" from his name but that leaves AIRU. Maybe we can call him Urai Enemy.
R U AI, Enemy?
It was a scam, cooked up with Raul and Kia as a way to extract money from the club
To be fair to Emery, Raul fucked him over. Raul bought Nicholas Pepe who played on the right wing. Emery wanted Zaha who played on the left wing
I will say this. Unai Emery is close to being an anagram of 'fun enemy'.
You can get "enemy" from his name but that leaves AIRU. Maybe we can call him Urai Enemy.
People make out that Arteta inherited an abomination of a squad... Emery took the vast majority of those players to a Europa League Final and narrowly missed out on 4th.
Wasn't that colossal prick Gazidis still about when we hired Emery
Swayed by that other colossal prick Raul Sanllehi to hire Emery (as opposed to Arteta) at the 11th hour.
That other cunt (not particularly collosal) during that time, Ventkatesham, is now at the Spurms.
Even the stadium announcer sounds fed up
I will say this. Unai Emery is close to being an anagram of 'fun enemy'.
As long as we beat WH next week I don't give a flying monkeys fuck if it condems Spam to relegation instead of Spuds as long as we win the title. Although Spuds getting relegated would be hilarious
The West Ham game is the toughest remaining game in the league. They have to win and will be up for it. We just have to be ready.
Really? That's very serious allegation.
Would appear he was significantly strong-armed in the transfer market by both. Would be curious to know the exact degree to which the Pépé deal was inflated by agent fees.

Jeez, an Emery masterclass on fucking things up made worse by Eileen Drewery-acolyte mumbling his football commentary.
I don't particularly like Emery - his management in decisive moments is/has been questionable and his stock isn't exactly stable right now - but I do think he's a decent manager overall.
It was a scam, cooked up with Raul and Kia as a way to extract money from the club
Wonder if Edu may have been ...
Never understood why Arsenal hired him
On paper, it made sense. EL pedigree (route back into the CL) and took Valencia to multiple consecutive top 4 finishes in the late '00s/early '10s.
Never understood why Arsenal hired him
It was a scam, cooked up with Raul and Kia as a way to extract money from the club
Never understood why Arsenal hired him
heh, preach it preacher man!
Hope Forest piss on their EL dreams.
Hope Forest turn them over and Villa fall out of top 5
I never got the hype about Sancho even when he was supposedly tearing it up in Germany. Utd got taken for a ride with the enormous money they paid for him.
No dental insurance at the Emirates and he had to buy his own Brylcreem.
oh he definitely had dental insurance with us. That was the first thing he did when he arrived.
Morgan Rodgers might consider his future even if they qualify for the champions league.
No dental insurance at the Emirates and he had to buy his own Brylcreem.
Villa supporters don’t look very happy
I think they're rightly furious and appalled at what they're seeing. It's woeful, but, like Chelsea, they seem to get their dicks up when it's us. Fucking hypocrites.
Commentators have given a pass to Emery. He didn't pick half of his first choice players and in so doing, has diminished the importance of this game.
This is on Emery.
Not good from Emery. Take three losses on the bounce. Show a lack of respect to WH.
Poor show fella. Very poor.
Something must have gone on behind the scenes at Arsenal for him to enjoy sticking pins in our fucking balls so much
Getting sacked?
never underestimate Emery's ability to fuck things up for Arsenal.
Something must have gone on behind the scenes at Arsenal for him to enjoy sticking pins in our fucking balls so much
Mostly to fuck us up ever since "Dick" Emery went there.
Yep! He would have put out his strongest team had that been us. I don't want to go full Hazza or Kleine on him, but I find the hype around our matches with them and how he has our number hard to stomach.
I was talking to a group of Everton fans a few weeks ago and predicted that West Ham would go down, but I predicted a draw against Forest and
that Spurs wpuld lose against Villa
never underestimate Emery's ability to fuck things up for Arsenal.
Will Emery shake de Zerbi"s hand when Villa lose?
Don't see why not. All part of his evil plan.

Even if you're going to rest some players, why is Ross Barkley playing uo front alongside Abraham? That's just bonkers.
Don't worry I got it covered with the Bournemouth and the Brentford wins, should be enough for us
100%
Kolo Muani is playing like Arjen Robben
Well I do hope Villa win their last game of the league
Don't worry I got it covered with the Bournemouth and the Brentford wins, should be enough for us
They do live in Birmingham.
That and being outplayed by a shit Spuds side
Yeah
In Neville's mind;

7. Glasser
8. Moyes

101. Mikel Arteta
To be fair the Neville cunt said it when Villa were a few points off the top back in Dec
He only said it though to try and wind up Arsenal fans
Hard to believe they were in a title race when they thrashed us 1-1
Yes, a true 1-1 ass whooping
I didn't even know Lindelof was at Villa.
It’s clearly Michael Carrick

Finishing above pool should be motivation
That Sancho "pass" is fucking embarrassing
Villa playing for top four.
Top 5, thanks to Arsenal pushing up the Premier League coefficient
...they don't need 4th. I don't think. Unless I'm misinformed.
Every place is worth something but top four is something
...they don't need 4th. I don't think. Unless I'm misinformed.
Yeah 5th get CL. Their priority is the Europa league to be fair.
Villa playing for top four.
Top five is OK due to the qualification algorithm. They're pretty much certs for that so Count Twatula is trying to be clever with his team selection.
He'd know, given his own success in Spain.
Haw haw haw.
Villa playing for top four.

I'll take them staying up by the skin of their teeth if we win the title!!!
If Villa lose this I hope they get just one more point (against City) and that Bournemouth overtake them
PGMOL saying the Sesko goal should have been disallowed for handball.
Well done Unai. When you prioritise a cup competition you are inevitably downgrading focus on the Premier League.
Put out a weakened team against a desperate team and expect to be punished.
Emery suprised how the shit team he selected conceded.
Emery looking at it like what happened? You dropped half your team you stupid cunt, that's what happened.
The cunts are gonna stay up aren't they? :'-(
Villa giving it their all. Wi be funny if they still lost after a red card for Van Der Van.
*not Villa, Spurs.

He's picked a team with half of his first choice players missing.
PGMOL saying the Sesko goal should have been disallowed for handball.
Dickheads.
PGMOL saying the Sesko goal should have been disallowed for handball.
Disregard. 😂 I'm assuming Emery will do the same in a couple weeks but maybe not
He’s got the Europa semi this week so he’s holding players back for that. When they play City the final will already be played . If Villa reach the final and win it then he may well need the points for CL qualification
Disregard. 😂 I'm assuming Emery will do the same in a couple weeks but maybe not
He most certainly will. They will also concede a lot of goals against City I feel.
Not unlike Chelsea. cunts everywhere are trying their best to pave a path for ¢115eh

Just seen it, the cunt has out out half a team.

Gus Caesar is still the most hardcore name I've ever heard. Which is disingenuous in many ways as we was such a sweet lad.
I wasn't pointing fingers at individuals. He's done plenty good in his first season in English football.
I know you weren't, but I certainly was. It was a completely unnecessary pass at a time when we on top and he had the straightforward option of playing it forward to Rice to start an attack. My frustration with that backwards passing and the risks it induces around our own box boiled over at that point.
Against Man U it was Zubitis! Going fucking backwards as his supposedly safe option when the forward pass to Rice was on fucked us up at a time when Nan U hadn't offered anything. He fucked up and han...

Leaves the chasing pack with European ambition something to play for. City opposition for the remaining games have something to aim at
(only because that would mean ¢115eh drop points, obviously)
United could still finish above City
🙏 make it so
It's very frustrating that we found a way to not beat the Scunts this season. And to lose at home to a very average United team.
*Sighs*

Can’t induce me to do that
It’s a stretch but remains a possibility

Dixon is all about speaking through the old school hardman lens
Yes, back in the era when he was the one making those types of challenges.
Absolutely, don't get Dixon say it was yellow as he was going for the ball. Studs up on the heel, from behind. Straight fucking red all day long.
Dixon is all about speaking through the old school hardman lens
It's funny coz it's true.
Perversely, I'd still like to see it.
It's funny coz it's true.
Just like Dowman yesterday, Rio showed his inexperience by going for goal when a team mate was in a much better position.
The thing is, it's too easy playing age group football for them, wheneverbtheyvget learnt he goal they shoot and often score. It doesn't work like that in the senior game.
Bruno could punch the ref and only get a yellow.
Heh

Which is why the FA Cup has been cancelled this season

Like fuckin Warwick Davis out there
haha
And the cunt pundits who used to play for them
Incidentally carrying on the earlier conversation what sets the likes of Keown and Wrighty apart is they have shown that it's possible to wear your colours on your sleeve without attacking other colours. A.lesson those "cunt pundits" never managed to learn
Kobbie Mainoo...that's not a real name

Give it a few minutes. It is not over.

Well that free kick was an anticlimax lol
Yeah but the wall was only about 5 yards away from the ball when he kicked it.
I have only just noticed that, I guess the camera perspective can be deceiving.

That 10 yard vertical pass from the Yanited goalie. We've seen it before, unfortunately, he should be docked a month's wages.
lol the worst part is making him chase the ball like a training exercise
I do enjoy seeing sad yanited fans.
Bayern vs PSG is a display of attacking talent. This game is a display of defensive clownery.
That 10 yard vertical pass from the Yanited goalie. We've seen it before, unfortunately, he should be docked a month's wages.
Well that’s embarrassing but I’ve got my draw so far
That's some Massimo Taibi shit dayur.
Maybe Emery doesn't owe us one after all.
This! Not having a fit and in form Saka has hampered him. Also needed Havertz to reduce his workload.
MLS is the answer to all our problems.
Such talent, such grotesque physiognomy lol.
Slobbyeye is very, very good.
Bruno too this season.
I think the secret to unlocking Big Vik is a partnership with an in form Saka.
This! Not having a fit and in form Saka has hampered him. Also needed Havertz to reduce his workload.
There undoubtedly would have been growing pains with Šeško. So anyone mourning that non-deal ought to get real.
Slobbyeye is very, very good.
We showed this Liverpool side far too much respect at the Emirates.
They score nevertheless...
Sesko definitely is more raw with the higher ceiling. Overall I’m happy with the decision we made. There is a world where Vik is more effective next season and is a 30 goal scorer.

With the obvious exception of Messi himself, and maybe Alvarez, that entire world cup squad are in same category as MacAllister.
I’ve watched him long enough to know he is above average but really he makes very little difference.

Didn't Arsenal sack all the scouts to go to a more agent/data driven approach?
Yes but didn't we hire a bunch later after realizing what a cock-up that move proved to be?
Watching ManUre dry hump ManUre...
Considering Gyok's output so far this season, and the links we had to Sesko. Did we sign the better player for us in this moment as a team or would Sesko have potentially performed better in an Arsenal shirt?
Between City and Chelsea, I had rather City win it.
Nuke the stadium, solves a lot of problems. 😏
Didn't Arsenal sack all the scouts to go to a more agent/data driven approach?
I think so, but we lag Brighton and Brentford when it comes to data-driven recruitment.
Wouldn't mind seeing Liverpool properly turned over here

Gotta love the penalty for Bournemouth but no whistle for that shove in the back. PL officiating defies any logic
Yep. Some chat he's played his last game for them.
Still Slot has elected to play fake Gervinho this season very often
Yep. Some chat he's played his last game for them.

knowing what i do about liverpool this season, i'm not hugely surprised they're 2 down in 16 minutes.
but knowing what i do about manure, i wouldn't be surprised if they were 2 down in 16 minutes either.
maybe goldsoundz will get his draw.
Honestly how does Salah not get into this team?

if this doesn’t stand, they should award a penalty for the first chance
will never happen though
Unfortunately that gives maybe Bruno a share of the assists record
"little touch on it"
Fuck off cunt
Unfortunately that gives maybe Bruno a share of the assists record
Neville willing that to be an assist. Shameless prick.
Haha it just hit him and went in
will now pay attention to my cheeky firestick stream
I really hope they keep Carrick. That reality check in September when they're playing more than once every ten days will be glorious.
Aye also stops them getting someone really good like Enrique
Moves like he's still got the hanger in his shirt

Catches flak, not slack
This, 100% iClass, we have to. It would have been lovely to add to the first half lead yesterday and tot up our tally as it may very well come down to goal difference. Still, three without reply will ...
I’d thought that until I watched their game yesterday and their defending was amateurish
Tbf he’s prob better than Neville

Gonna be a tough second leg vs Atletico we will need to earn it but confidence will be flying if we can book the final.

Dixon actually slipped a bit yesterday saying he had to put his champagne cork back in the bottle after Calafiori's goal got chalked off.
Hopefully Villa put the Spuddies to the sword later.
That would be luvverly!

Yeah, sorry but I'm taking that whole "didn't find out until the team sheet" thing with a grain of salt.
Everton and Brentford still fighting for Europe.

Everton are a lot more resilient this season, we can just hope Moysey does his mate Teta a favour

Im actually enjoying the rewatch. Its so clear the producer is in their ear: “Crowd is nervous, arsenal too elaborate, bottle merchants, etc.”
Meanwhile Fulham haven't touched the ball in 20 min, the stands are a goddamn party and the team is imperious.
I hope you’re right, but recent results betw the two dont really show Everton being a tough game for city

Hoping for a Mersey swirling wind and a headed goal from the man-monkey, Tarkowski.

Spurs have just announced a partnership with Peppa Pig. Lol
The license is owned by Hasbro and when the company I was with was last dealing with them they proved to be an underhand devious bunch so perhaps the tie up is well suited, although there’s something weirdly funny about a group of supporters who regularly call themselves Y**s being associated with Pig merchandise

Well we have three winnable league games left and the first two should give us the opportunity to score the goals we need to keep ahead of anything 115 can do
This, 100% iClass, we have to. It would have been lovely to add to the first half lead yesterday and tot up our tally as it may very well come down to goal difference. Still, three without reply will have to do. At least we looked hungry for more.
WHam away next week will likely be the toughest of the three reaming fixtures. A victory on Tuesday night will hopefully be the progenitor for the remaining fixtures.

A sorely needed performance to bring the belief back to the fans and they delivered. Agree that City has some tough games still against teams with a lot to play for. Thiago still in the mix with Haaland for the golden boot as well. Let’s see.
Now let’s get to the CL Final.

Well captured blogs, I also really love the photo of the Gyök and Saka celebratory embrace. Perfect. Yesterday, we could see what this burgeoning raport could become and what we have all been yearning for much of the season. Saka was incisive and delivered the meat and drink that The Gyok needs to feed on. More please.
MLS was imperious in midfield and looked very comfortable knowing that Rice had his back. Everyone was brilliant and played their part yesterday. Trossard! Wow, where has that been? Anyway, I hope that the uplifting performance is just the tonic to carry us over the line and also sets us up nicely for the return leg against Atletico on Tuesday night.
C115y will be rested and raring to go on Monday night, but hopefully MA8's old mentor Moysey can do us a all a favour and take points off the light Blue Meanies. Yes, we all know that we should have had this wrapped the league title up already, but now we just have to repeat the effort and performance shown on Saturday in our remaining games.

What d'you reckon happened in that crazy "stalemate" frame in the other day's snooker semi-final at the Crucible (which I perversely massively enjoyed; live telly showing no pot for 56 mins = deliriously subversive). The crowd would have had to sit there for 100mins!
Even the jaded, biased, inane TV commentators noticed the racket. I wish there could be a stadium upgrade to maximise the decibel levels (and stop the bladder warriors/early leavers sigh).

The permanently near-incontinents who repeatedly leave after 25 minutes and return 5 minutes later each half drive me mad.
A few weeks ago 5 men got up in unison after FIFTEEN minutes in the row in front and returned in dribs and draws over a 10 minute period. They did the same after about 30 minutes of the second half. This meant repeated obstructed views. In the second half I voiced my irritation ("oh for fuck's sake, not again") and became embroiled in a short argument where those around me vented their irritation. It made no difference at all to the group of toilet dwellers. It really is a pet peeve of mine.
Come on Liverpool ladies.
Even the jaded, biased, inane TV commentators noticed the racket. I wish there could be a stadium upgrade to maximise the decibel levels (and stop the bladder warriors/early leavers sigh).
Of course what happens on the pitch has a direct correlation to the crowd mood but so often the idea of p-a-r-t-i-c-i-p-a-t-i-o-n seems utterly alien these days...

For a season-long battle in four parallel competitions we need two exceptionally fit and exceptionally capable players in every position. Without a fit Ben White we get an overplayed, injurred Timber. Ditto in midfield etc.

There was one particularly wobbly bit early on but the crowd really had his back and I think he was energised by that positive reaction as he not only seemed more positive on the ball but also made a couple of interventions.
Notice that resurrected Saka and Benny linkup?
Plus a good word for the maligned Madueke. Worked well defensively yesterday and was ok in possession.

I thought that Benjamin started a bit wobbly yesterday, but improved and seemed to get some rhythm as the game went on. He's put himself through physical extremes to cover when there was no-one else, and yesterday showed some signs of recovery. Let's hope that we can get the real Ben White back!

Quite possibly! Hopefully once we break the curse, that will be that!

Fuck off with that
Rice, Saka and Gyökeres were great yesterday, but the real facilitator of that win was MLS. He seems to be totally fearless, and I think that transmits to the other players. Also, his experience last season at Left-back taught him about defending. As well as having a more-than-decent game as a midfield player, he can drop into the 6 if Rice goes forward, and into the 3 to cover Calafiori's adventures. After a great start last season, he did get exposed as a left back, but this midfield role, with his ability to carry the ball, as well as troubleshoot, seems made for him.
The trouble with Arteta is that he keeps invoking Murphy's Law. Declare how great a physical specimen is Havertz and within a week or two he gets seriously banjaxed. Send Ethan out on loan to a club whose manager he trusts, and said manager gets sacked and half our midfield get crocked. We must have built the stadium on an old pagan burial ground.
Must be pretty pissed off about his exile. Watching his loan team get trashed 3-0 by one-from-bottom Nantes entirely from the bench while your actual team and mates win by the same margin can’t be fun...
Methinks next season Ethan either gets another really beneficial loan (not that volatile OM-omnishambles) or he will be eased into the first team. But with a fit Merino and MLS knocking/kicking down the 1st team door, Ethan's opportunities to play will come more likely through other player's injury, rather than need for rotation.
Feliz culo! Glad yesterday ended well, especially after the women lost a goal by getting Double-VAR'd on 20 minutes. The ref thought it was a fair tackle but VAR called a penalty. And then DvD saved the pen and play continued. Next break in play the ref was sent to the screen and it was ruled that DvD had stepped off her line fractionally before the penalty was taken.
I had wondered if it was a bad portent for the men's game, but they played great. I think there will be a rebuild of the women's team with a few 30+ year olds going out of contract and rumours of some great recruits on their way in.
...and I was at the right end to see the 3 goals perfectly and the crowd were really up for it.
Was a fabulous game to watch live, it was so much fun. But as Gabby Logan said afterwards Fulham had had 10 players out with a virus this week and also Sessegnon was broken. That's not to say we didn't play well, I just wondered why Fulham were so abjectly hopeless, now I know. Agent Smith Rowe looked as if he'd done himself a mischief, poor thing. And it didn't rain much either although I was under cover. Chucked it down when I'd almost reached my road.
Swedish Fullkrug had a massive game yesterday. More of the same please

At the ground yesterday was great, best bit was the unusually loud and heart felt singing as the players went off at half time. Really good.
Also people trying to get behind Ben White in a big way despite him looking extremley dodgy. I think he will be sold
Just watching MOTD and Spurs got a massive slice of luck yesterday. Spam hit the woodwork three times and Brentford's penalty at 1-0 up is complete bullshit.
Rice looks better when he's a bit deeper and not having to do a Steven Gerrard impression

That Eze pass through needs a little more gloss and attention on it! Perfectly weighted and such a smart pass. Yet again. His through balls this season, very effective.
MLS first minute of the game -loved his energy.
Declan Rice… phenomenal again, one slide tackle he did was just brilliant.

Excellent performance last night, just what the doctor ordered. Great to have Saka back in form and MLS was outstanding in midfield. Even Trossard looked much more like the best version of himself. Must be a huge confidence boost ahead of Tuesday.
