Yeah he was great , the game suited him more as well as he could move into midfield and didn’t need to pick the touch line covering a super fast winger. But even that he will handle better with some game time and confidence.

Absolutely true, but that's why the League of Nations and then the United Nations was set up. Sure, it always favoured the most powerful countries, but the framework for a genuine democratic world, where universal ideals and principles are formulated and shared is a good one. If we can get all three to offer 10 goals each over the next 30 games, we're pretty much there. That's a big target, but they are capable.

I don’t think it’s a distorted memory. When that team of Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Ljungberg, Vieira were at their best, they were sensational in a way teams before and after have rarely matched. There were some lesser in those teams, and yeah some games where it didn’t click. But we remember the peaks and the peaks were pretty special.
