Arteta would probably see it as Madueke can do all the things that Nwaneri can do, but with more security and more defensive ability. But the difference in chaos bringing between Nwaneri and Madueke going forward, for me, is massive.
Ready or not he has been underused.. looks more of an analog to Ödegård than Eze even though we don’t want that anymore.. and gets way more shots of than Gyokeres regardless where he plays.. But that shooting ability, that ability to drop a should, spin, beat a man and shoot or assist, to me that's a rare quality that a manager looking for "disruption" in the attacking third should be willing to compromise just a little on security (especially with the defence we have - it's about individual brilliance as well as a tight system) in return for the deadlock breaker or match winner he definitely has in his arsenal right now to turn a game and ultimately to win us trophies.

We should be looking for the best tactics to beat particular sides, or even change it up in-game if plan A isn't working.

My bad I seem to have misremembered. Still good numbers for a 17 yo with 26 apearances 15 of which were subs. I dunno about the idea of restricting him to the 8 role either. Wenger had it right with youth, blood them first on the wings then move them centrally. With a talent like him too, the goal should be to involve them no matter where. I don't see Arteta going to San Siro and rotating heavily. I just don't think he has it in him. Maybe Eze for Odegaard, Jesus/Havertz for Gyokeres, but that's about it. The wingers seem to be interchangeable these days anyway.
