Sorry folks.....I shouldn't have taken responsibility for the first arse this morning. It clearly affected the team, causing us to drop points.
Fair result - Chelsea did well after going down to 10 & fair play to them maintaining some attacking threat throughout. Frustrated but end of the day will take the point with the new centre back pairing who I thought looked understandably shaky.
Thought we really missed Trossard, who's been our best attacker this season & crucial to unlocking defences. Set pieces & crossing generally were terrible today except for the goal & right at the end when Timber & then Merino couldn't get it on target.
Thought MLS could've gone wide & overlapped more. Madueke & Saka mostly poor second half & Eze not the best game either. Everything good went through Odegaard after he came on for Zubimendi who didn't have the best game either. Likewise Merino but still made stuff happen & had the best chances. If Jesus fit would have brought him on for Saka towards end with Jesus left & Madueke right.
Overall good week, would've swapped a win at Bridge for Bayern but would've taken it start of the week & knowing the injury circumstances. Curious to see lineup vs Brentford & if Gyokeres/Norgaard/Odegaard/Madueke could be involved from start.
