No idea...

Poor commentator nearly burped live on air. 🤣
Don't trust these officials...
It still drives me nuts that they don't raise the flag until the end the phase of play. that butt clinching moment ended up being a nothing burger because she was miles offside.
Don't trust these officials...
ha ha, I take full responsibility if we blow this.
heh, I missed the good stuff, I see. got called away and came back to that score line.

In the Champions League only.
What there's VAR at Meadow Park!?
Well played, Smith, unlucky, nearly opened up.
Heh, I dare say Canadians are probably better/safer drivers than we are in those conditions.
heh, sometimes. People do like to forget how to drive in rough conditions at the beginning of the season. Our roads were little curling rinky first thing this morning so I came in to work quite early to avoid any mayhem.
Winter tires makes a world of difference

that's the problem (or benefit, based on our current form 😬) with the new Champions League format. It loses quite a bit of the peril until the knock-out rounds. I suspect 9 points would probably be enough to progress.

It was so surreal the way he lead in to that comment.

Yes, I was not sure how to formulate this, but that was what I had in mind: lots of Dr Evils there.

Maybe the new Bigly Balllroom will have a trap door and sharks with lasers on their heads swimming beneath? Or at least ill-tempered sea bass.
That could apply to many in the room to be honest. Which they are not.

appropriate for a dinner attended by both Jughead and Moose.
This can’t get more grotesque. Was fucking Dr. Evil also in attendance?
Read this last night on the BBC news - as always there was no comment as I remember. The world's politics have gone absolutely insane. T.Rump is such a caricature of a world leader...like something out of a bad movie.

I believe that the Nations League "division" winners (A, B, C, D) all get a playoff spot, but if they qualify through the qualifying group that drops down the the next placed team. Thay go in with the qualifying groups runners-up and ultimately four teams out if that lot go through. I would imagine division A Nations League teams will all qualify through their groups, at least to the playoffs, so I guess it must then drop down the division B etc.
So how many teams ultimately go through from this? Four?
One team I think

I am genuinely approached in bars/restaurants or on the street 1-3 times per year by people asking me if I am Graham Potter, and 4 times so far in the month since he took on the Sweden job. A couple of weeks ago I ran with it and answered some questions about "my" likely lineup in the coming games, and emphasised that Gyökeres is clearly the standout player in the Swedish squad, while Isak is disappointingly lazy and uncommitted, pointing to a clear difference in the way each player is fostered by their club side. I suspect the Curacao fans went creme de menthal at the final whistle, celebrating their team's tequila instinct.

Italy v those teams mentioned is only the semi-final. the winners of that play the winners of Pots 2 and 3.
Semi-final matches on March 26, Final on March 31.
It is long overdue to find that gypsy caravan with the voodoo dolls of the Arsenal team and needles in them and burn it to the ground.
Maybe we need to remove the dolls and pins first, just to be safe.
Italy can draw Macedonia
Their options are Romania, Sweden, north Macedonia and Northern Ireland.
Oh, right, cheers, did they qualify via the Nations League?
It's all very confusing now, thought Wales had usurped them.
But then I read Wales would have had a chance via the Nations League anyway (if they hadn't pipped NM to second spot), like Sweden, bottom of their group, do.
Potter's name was forged in Sweden, took a team in the frozen north from Swedish division 4 up to 3,2,1 and then into the Europa League where they beat Arsenal at the Emirates!
If he sticks around - he's on a short term contract and will probably leave if they don't make the WC - I think he could do well with them in the long run (I hope so anyway)

Sweden is struggling bigtime right now, but you'd expect they'll have a bunch of players back by March and under my doppelganger Graham Potter could still prevail.
Italy can draw Macedonia
Their options are Romania, Sweden, north Macedonia and Northern Ireland.
Can't take anything for granted, as Italy have gone out to North Macedonia and Sweden in the previous two play-offs (why always them?).
I don't really rate this Italian team, they don't have the fantasists of yesteryear, but at least Gattuso has the fighting spirit, so there's a chance for them to get through.
At least Italy are sure to avoid North Macedonia thanks to Wales.

Can't those evil blue cunts in the north get some injuries, or is Pep tampering with our club's water supply?

The injury news about Gabriel and Havertz stings, especially with the games we face, but I'm smiling because KT scored a beauty and when KT is happy, I'm happy.

No promises, and I have no crystal ball, but if you could see ahead to April and we have all our players fit and are about to win the league title and ready for a final in the CL, would you take all the pain and frustration we're feeling now at these seemingly endless catalogue of injuries? We have cover as never before, we hopefully have our striker back for the NLD. I'm choosing to keep believing because with all the bad luck (and that sadistic looking so and so Michael Oliver reffing the NLD) we still have the best chance ever to win it. We have to keep the faith!
I didn't realise that the Gyökeres injury was a hamstring, I thought it was a more general muscle strain.
In any case, there's no use blaming anyone, it's just wasted energy. Arteta will have to decide who to pick for the next couple of months in Gabriel's position.
Mosquera seems a good choice, Calafiori is an option, but I think Hincapié carries that same South American passion and personality. He's younger and more raw. I worry he might incur yellows and reds, but if the more experiences players can keep him focused, he has that drive and energy which is similar in some ways to Gabriel, though obviously not the same aura which has been built up over several years.
Anyway, as you say, a discussion for the next few days leading up to the NLD.
For now, well done Scotland and well done Wales and Eire. I just hope Italy don't draw either of those two in the play-offs.
Three missed finals will certainly make history for all the wrong reasons!

All light in my life died. Not in a flicker, but in a cataclysmic implosion that has swallowed my entire day whole. Before my eyes, the cruel, relentless tally of Arsenal's maimed and missing bled across my mobile.
