Whoa, good luck on the Hannenkamm. The Inferno in Lauterbrunnen was my peak back in the day but even that I had to traverse at the very top. I am 61 now and well and north of 250lbs with two blown out knees. Just watching it now gives me cold shivers!
Jurrien Timber on the receiving end of a bad challenge. Looks like he is ok. Can’t wait for these interlulls to end.

Exactly, 'toon. I think of crazy stuff I did in my youth and I constantly amazed that I've made it this far especially as I have always been accident prone. I look at the rocks and cliffs and that I scampered up and down without a care and now I get vertigo just looking at pictures them. My skiing days are long gone now too, just not going to happen, my lack of any discernable shape doesn't help matters and I look at the risk v reward and the risk is just way too great! My motorcycle rides are jaunt back in time and for brief moment it feels like the clock has stood still, I kid myself that everything is as it was, but even then, after about 30-40 minutes I'm reminded it is time ready to get off the bloody thing before I do myself some mischief.
Ha. Those days are long gone for me. I've tried surfing, unsuccessfully, a couple of times, but that was in the warm waters of Hawaii on the baby waves of Waikiki, but that was yonks ago. There are wa...

hmm... Molson still owns Carling and Black Label. SAB maybe just brews it for local distribution or licenses it or something.
Think they bought the brand for South Africa. Might be a licensing/distribution deal but SAB likes owning stuff- they bought Miller a while back (amongst a plethora of other beers) and was the biggest brewery globally before selling to some other global conglomerate...

Ha. Those days are long gone for me. I've tried surfing, unsuccessfully, a couple of times, but that was in the warm waters of Hawaii on the baby waves of Waikiki, but that was yonks ago. There are way too many white sharks for me to even think about going again. The water is way colder than and if I went in now the sharks would think it was human sushi all you can eat.

Sounds like a great adventure, DB.
Are you cruising on two wheels or four?
We flew to SF from KC and I rented a Jeep, so 4 wheels. I still cannot get MrsDB10 to get on the Rocket 3R. She just wants me to increase the life insurance. LOL.

It's the low level background drone that simply doesn't readily recognise achievements from a section of society but will laud far lesser achievements from a different cohort. It grates.

It is raining here, which is lovely. We can watch the stream and wildlife from our secluded, cottage snug. We had a lovely fish supper last night with my two currant buns at Nick's Rockaway, in Pacifica. It was great to see them again and catch up while watching the surfers navigate the waves off the cold, grey November Norcal coastline.
Off to enjoy the tastes of the delightful local terroir today and one of the best interlulls in a very long time.

At the end of 2010, I spent Christmas and New Year in Colombia, which is just about North of the Equator, so it was technically winter, but you'd never have known it.
It snowed but, not in the way you were accustomed to.
Didn't the NFL introduce the transparency around team injuries to appease the betting markets and their increasing prominence in the NFL corporate machine, especially after the US liberalised the gambling industry?
Well ninja'd, Bruce.

As for the FA saying that 'he put it on a plate'. What a ridiculous statement. But then it's very much a sad sign of our racist times, where sections of the media and mainstream politicians are now doing their racism out in the open. I'm sure some don't believe Saka and Eze et al should even be in the England team.
But fuck them, the racist cunts.

Woke up this morning and saw a strange text from Son #2 on my phone that made me question if I was still in a weird dream:
“Bro I woke up cuz I smell something weird and there was a bean plataspid on me”
But no I guess that happened. 😂

Congratulations Ireland it never occurred to me that there might be Internationals on a Sunday . the manager will ^have^ Calafiori, Piero Hincapie, or Cristhian Mosquera (who I wrote about yesterday), at his disposal. I found that have under the table - you must have dropped in all the excitement.

Fuck off Bruce, and well done.
Happy birthday Brucette!
Because I subscribe to Second Captains I feel like I’m more invested in the Irish team than the Socceroos. The contrast from absolutely doomed & Heimir is inept last Wednesday to absolute scenes yesterday is so funny.
