and Smith got a significant knock, stretchered off.

Reid, Lotte Wubben-Moy, van Domselaar all left their respective international camps early too. 😬 bloody internationals. Ah well, at least we don't have any critical matches coming up... what's that? A possible league-ender (if we lose) with Chelsea coming up? doooom!

Agyemang ACL... sigh, it really is an epidemic. The timing couldn't be worse too, as she's right in the midst of a significant breakthrough in her career.

Best of luck in your recovery Michelle, may it be as quick and smooth as possible.

Ok, I guess we're on the same page...

I just think this iteration of (almost grown up in 22-24) Arsenal probably runs that 115 team even closer than a handful of goals and 1 point now.

I don't think I've felt this positive about the direction of the club and team since maybe 2005.

It all hinges on whether man city are capable of stringing 8-9 wins on the bounce.

They don't have a prime Kev brown, Rodri, Mahrez, Gundogan any more.

Yes, I imagined anyone who had read it would have thought that, so I had to confess now! I think Saliba has this powered, driving acceleration over the first few yards, rather like Timber. Mosquera's only 21 so I imagine when he puts a bit more muscle on he'll get that as well, once he's up and running those long legs are like a racehorse getting into his stride. As for the one-on-ones and last-ditch challenges, absolutely majestic. I did add straight after that I like both him and HincapiƩ, their auras are what you need from top defenders and they have the physical attributes to go with it.

Him and Mosquera, from sheer level relative to the amount spent. It's funny, I was doubting Mosquera's pace after Eddie Nketiah got the run of him a couple of times at the weekend. But he just showed yesterday that the pace is definitely there. Aside from one bad pass, the way he wins challenges is superb, just naturally has to pick up a bit more experience.

Kepa on the other hand, has all the experience any keeper could need, the top level. And I guess his fall from grace has humbled him a bit and he seems to have responded in the perfect way. £5m is an absolute steal and considering how much we've spent on Chelsea players, with very mixed results, this one is one that is the most satisfying.
